Bayer successful in a difficult environment

  • Group sales EUR 31,168 million (minus 5.3 percent)
  • EBITDA before special items EUR 6,472 million (minus 6.6 percent)
  • Net income EUR 1,359 million (minus 20.9 percent)
  • Net cash flow significantly improved to EUR 5,375 million (plus 49 percent)
  • Net financial debt reduced by EUR 4.5 billion to EUR 9.7 billion
  • Core earnings per share expected to improve by about 10 percent in 2010 » more
