Helping children and improving the conditions of rural workers
In Colombia Bayer is committed to improving the prospects of socially disadvantaged groups and children. The “Agrovida” initiative educates rural workers and small farmers about the responsible use of pesticides, safe handling of chemicals and how to dispose of them in an environmentally sustainable manner. Children who have suffered violence are stimulated physically and mentally in the “mobile ludoteca”, a brightly painted play bus.
