Sustainable agriculture and biodiversity
Another issue of central importance to Bayer is the use of sustainable agriculture to satisfy the rising global demand for high-quality food supplies while at the same time contributing to better health care for the population and to the protection of nature. Innovative crop protection products safeguard harvest yields and simultaneously maintain the biodiversity of crop landscapes. Biodiversity refers to the biological diversity of all living organisms, including animals, plants and microorganisms. In order to maintain this valuable balance, we advocate sustainable crop production worldwide.
