Global Winners of the 16th International Children's Painting Competition on the Environment
The sixteenth International Children’s Painting Competition on the Environment was organized by Bayer AG and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). 13,450 children from 104 countries submitted pictures in 2007 – the highest participation rate ever for this competition, which has been organized since 1990. The global winners were announced on June 5, 2007 in Tromso, Norway where the International World Environment Day celebrations took place. The theme in 2007 was "Climate Change".
