Global Winners of the 15th International Children's Painting Competition on the Environment

The fifteenth International Children’s Painting Competition on the Environment was organised by Bayer AG and the United Nations Enviromental Programme (UNEP). About 10,000 children from 100 countries took part in 2006. The global winners were announced on 5th June 2006 in Algiers, Algeria where the international World Environment Day celebrations took place. Year 2006 theme was "Deserts and Desertification".
