Education for Poultry Producers

Poultry production is one of the most highly developed industries in Malaysia, and the island nation is also among the world's leading poultry producers. One of the biggest risks faced by this industry sector is the threat posed to stocks by rats. That's why Bayer Malaysia this year joined with the Malaysian Department of Veterinary Services to inform poultry farmers about various rat control options — marking the first time in Malaysia's history that a multinational company has cooperated with the local authorities to hold such a workshop. The seminar held in English and Mandarin was attended by more than 200 farmers, dealers and executives from the Department of Veterinary Services.

Since 1977, Bayer has been actively educating poultry farmers on global trends in producing wholesome poultry products and on keeping production costs from escalating.
