Protecting nature

Biodiversity is the focus of Bayer's social commitment in New Zealand. Bayer supports the goal of protecting the country's extensive and unique variety of fauna and flora with a biotope for rare and endangered plants, as well as by financing a facility that cares for sick or injured birds. Bayer is also well-known in New Zealand for its support of horseracing, as the Bayer Classic event the company has been sponsoring for 20 years is among the country's biggest races.
