Bayer Philharmonic Orchestra performs in Lucern
The special concerts promoted every four years by the Bayer Group in Switzerland and participated in by Bayer musicians have become a popular tradition. In June 2001 the Bayer Philharmonic Orchestra performed at the Lucern Culture and Congress Center, and 1,700 guests of the company from industry, government, culture and politics attended. For Bayer, the tremendous interest in this event is a sign of a close attachment to the company. This means a lot to Bayer as the company has enjoyed an intense and satisfying partnership with Switzerland for many years.
The Bayer Philharmonic Orchestra also performed in Switzerland in 1976, 1986 and 1996. In 1991 the Bayer Male Voice Choir and the Wind Orchestra performed at a musical gala in Lucern to mark 700 years of the Swiss Confederation.
