Assistance and encouragement for hemophiliacs
Two projects sponsored by Bayer Taiwan are aimed at helping young hemophilia patients to lead a better life. In 2001 the company's support enabled 30 young Taiwanese children who suffer from hemophilia to go on vacation outside Taiwan. It was the first time many of the children had ever traveled abroad. In addition to this project, Bayer awards scholarships to schoolchildren and students with hemophilia in honor of the outstanding achievements they make despite their illness.
