“From Beckmann to Warhol. 20th and 21st century art. The Bayer Collection.” This was the title of an exhibition in Berlin’s Gropius-Bau from March to June. Some 240 works by 89 artists have been on display. more   

“Science For A Better Life” – These 22 letters in display modules explain the company’s mission statement with hands-on examples. From “S” for “Science” to “A” for “Aspirin” and “E” for “Energy Efficient Mobility” – each letter stands for a Bayer-related topic. more

All employees worldwide are invited to celebrate the anniversary together. Recipes for a menu have been prepared for this and lunch have been served for free in cafeterias around the world. more

More than 30,000 guests will experience a colorful, two-and-a-half-hour show with stars and spectacular events at the BayArena in Leverkusen on June 29.

To mark Bayer's 150th anniversary in 2013, the Bayer Cares Foundation has launched a volunteering program special that was open to all current and retired Bayer employees worldwide. Funding of up to EUR 5,000 per project will be available. more

Letters sent out within Germany during Bayer's 150th birthday year are also marking the occasion: the company has produced its own German postage stamp to highlight the anniversary. Selected letters sent from Bayer will feature the commemorative stamp. It is also possible to order a “portocard” containing the stamp from the Bayer Corporate Shop. more
