A further main goal is the expansion of networks, particularly on an international and interdisciplinary level.

By focusing on support for schools, Bayer aims to promote enjoyment of and interest in the sciences among children and young people, and to help to sustainably improve scientific education opportunities in schools located in the communities in which Bayer operates.

The foundation supports special projects and study plans for schoolchildren, students and young university graduates with scientific ambitions through the Bayer Fellowship Program.

The foundation honors outstanding research achievements in groundbreaking areas of chemistry, biochemistry, medicine and climate studies with coveted scientific prizes.
