A grant from the Bayer foundations enabled chemistry student Jörg Klein to transfer from his home university in Erlangen to the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic in Prague for several months. |
Applicants should be able to show good to very good final school marks as well as a particularly good intermediate diploma. Furthermore, a broad horizon and a high level of motivation and personal commitment are expected of all applicants – be it in a social, political or cultural field. In addition to the customary performance records and certificates, the application should include a summary of the applicant’s study plans with a statement explaining the desire for assistance, as well as a project cost calculation breaking down the demand for assistance.

| When will I find out whether I have been selected to receive support? | The next selection meeting will take place on September 25, 2009. |
