Handling of personal data

Deliver Marketing Communications

We use your contact information (e.g. your name, address, phone/mobile number, email or other online contact information) to communicate with you through phone calls, direct mail, email or other electronic communication (e.g., chats on websites, text messages, messenger messages or remote detailing) in order to deliver marketing communications containing information about our services, products or events.

Retention period

We will store your personal data for the aforementioned purposes for no longer than 3 years after you close your account, unless a longer period may be required by applicable laws.

The legal basis for the processing of your data for the aforementioned purpose is your consent, Art. 6 (1) (a) General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

Transfer of personal data

Commissioned processing

For the processing of your personal data, we will to some extent use specialised service contractors that process your data on our behalf (e.g. for IT support or cloud services).

This includes in particular also:

Such service contractors are carefully selected and regularly monitored by us. Based on respective data processing agreements, they will only process personal data in accordance with our instructions.

Information regarding your rights

• Right to request the correction, deletion or restricted processing of your personal data;
• Right to object to processing based on legitimate interest or public interest, unless we are able to prove that compelling, warranted reasons superseding your interests, rights and freedoms exist, or that such processing is carried out for the purposes of the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims;
• Right to data portability;
• Right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority;
• Where you have provided your consent to the processing of your personal data, you may at any time withdraw your consent with future effect. Such withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of the processing prior to the withdrawal.
