Bayer has a long-standing and close connection to parasports and has been supporting the German Disabled Sports Association (DBS) since 2000. Our commitment to parasports is not only a sign of diversity, equality, and inclusion, but also makes a significant social contribution to the integration of people with disabilities.
Strong Pillars of Support

Bayer's support for parasports is based on several pillars:

  • Sponsoring the DBS: Bayer actively promotes the development and visibility of parasports in Germany.
  • Competitive and Recreational Sports: We support the parasports departments of TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen (athletics), RTHC Bayer Leverkusen (rowing), and SV Bayer Wuppertal (swimming).
Role Models for Young People

The Para athletes in our clubs are inspiring role models for young people with disabilities. They demonstrate that it is possible to lead a confident and fulfilling life despite limitations. Our inclusive training groups, in which athletes with and without disabilities train together, promote acceptance and cooperation.

Under the guidance of the parastars Tomomi Tozawa (left) and Johannes Floors (right), the next generation will also be able to access parasport.
