Our activities in the Benelux
Bayer has set the course for successful development as a Life Science company. This translates into a company structure with the Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Health and Crop Science divisions. The Pharmaceuticals division focuses on medicines that are only available on prescription. Consumer Health mainly markets over-the-counter medicines and Crop Science is the world leader in crop protection products, vegetable seeds and non-agricultural pest management.
Locations in the Benelux
In the Benelux Bayer has very diverse activities at different locations: from R&D and production to Sales & Marketing. 2100 colleagues are committed to Bayer's divisions every day. In Belgium you will find our locations in Diegem, Antwerp and Brussels, and in the Netherlands you will find Bayer in Bergschenhoek, Maastricht, Enkhuizen, Hoofddorp and Wageningen.
Locations in Belgium
In Diegem, about 250 employees work in our organizations for the Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Health and Crop Science divisions. You will also find our support (HR, Legal, Finance, IT) and corporate functions in Diegem.
Bayer has an office in Brussels that handles relations with European regulatory authorities (Public Affairs and Corporate Affairs). The office counts about 25 employees.
Our site in Antwerp produces chemicals, including plant protection products for the European market. Today more than 700 employees work here. To support our production units, services as the lab, logistics, maintenance and engineering, security service, HR, Finance, utilities and IT are also present.
