Sarena Lin
Sarena Lin has been a member of the Board of Management of Bayer AG since February 1, 2021. As Chief Transformation and Talent Officer, she is responsible for Human Resources, Strategy and Business Consulting. Lin is also Labor Director of Bayer AG.
Lin was born on January 9, 1971 in Taipei, Taiwan. She studied Computer Science at Harvard University in Boston Massachusetts, and graduated with a bachelor's degree. She then earned an MBA in Strategy and a Master's degree in International Relations from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.
From 1998 to 2011, Lin worked at McKinsey and held roles such as Managing Partner in Taipei, Taiwan as well as Partner in New York, New York, USA. From 2011 to 2017 she acted as the Corporate Vice President of Strategy and Business Development and subsequently as President of the Feed and Nutrition business at Cargill in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
In 2018, Lin joined Elanco, where she served as President of Elanco USA as well as Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Global Marketing. Most recently, she was a member of the Executive Committee with responsibility for Transformation and Technology.
Lin is married and has one daughter. She speaks English, Mandarin Chinese and basic German.
Sarena Lin has also been a member of the Supervisory Board of Siemens Healthineers AG since February 15, 2023.
