What Health Equity means at Bayer

Health Equity is a Business Priority Test

Health inequities can limit access to prevention, diagnosis and treatment. Bayer’s approach brings together research and development, access planning, affordable and sustainable delivery models, stronger health systems and community partnerships. The aim is to translate scientific progress into meaningful health outcomes, especially in underserved communities and low- and middle-income countries.

Expanding sustainable access to medicines

Access to medicine depends on more than a product being available. People also need care they can afford, reliable supply, appropriate diagnosis and treatment, and health services that can support them over time. Bayer works with local and global partners to develop access models that respond to these connected barriers and can be sustained at scale.
