Statement on the City of East St. Louis case
The following is Monsanto’s statement on a decision granting the company’s motion for summary judgement in the City of East St. Louis v. Monsanto, a case before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois involving the alleged presence of PCBs on certain properties in East St. Louis:
“We are pleased with the Court’s ruling to grant the company’s motion for summary judgement and dismiss the case in its entirety, finding that plaintiffs’ claims are time barred."
