Working Toward a Better Life

Bayer strives to put our passion and our best science and people to work to help solve humanity’s pressing challenges: sustaining, feeding and healing a growing world. Every day we live out our mission – Science for a Better Life – in the hopes that we can help society achieve a bold goal: health for all, hunger for none.

Equally important as our science is our deep-rooted commitment to substantially and meaningfully improving people’s lives in the communities where our employees and customers live and work. This commitment is an essential part of our corporate culture and identity, and our outreach and engagement takes many forms, including:

  • Philanthropic Giving

  • Strategic Partnerships

  • Employee Engagement

Extending our Reach

We know that no one person or company can achieve maximum impact working alone, so Bayer collaborates with high-profile, like-minded strategic partners to help amplify our efforts and effectiveness in addressing some of our nation’s most critical issues.

                Making Science Make Sense

Bayer’s national, Presidential Award-winning STEM education initiative is about making science

more accessible and less intimidating to young students by bringing Bayer volunteer scientists

into classrooms with hands-on, captivating experiences.

Bayer employees make a tangible impact in their communities by giving of their money, time and talents to local non-profit organizations working to improve lives and affect change. We applaud their efforts and are proud to support them through a dynamic volunteer program, a “dollars for doers” program and initiatives like Bayer’s Community Service Day.

Bayer Fund also offers a Matching Gifts program to Bayer employees in the United States.
