Bayer began its operations in the Middle East in the late 1880s, with the company’s Middle East headquarters located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Bayer has legal entities and representative offices in Cyprus, Egypt, Jordan, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In other countries across the region, Bayer products are marketed by external distributors and agents.
Bayer has 800 employees in the region. In 2015, the region’s life science activities showed double growth compared with the previous year, resulting in sales of EUR 430 million.
