Mr. B H Halaswamy, Hub Lead of the Pipeline Delivery Capability Hub for Asia Pacific, and Mr. Papichaya Sirikulchayanont, Unit Lead of the Seed Production Technology & Innovation Unit at Bayer Thai Co., Ltd., recently provided a precision corn planter to Dr. Chawalit Khanakornsuksan, Head of the Department of Farm Mechanics, Faculty of Agriculture, Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen Campus.
Bayer Thai provides a precision corn planter to Kasetsart University
This initiative aims to support students in gaining hands-on experience with modern corn cultivation technologies. The planter enables them to explore the integration of hydraulic and vacuum systems as well as the use of GPS navigation, to enhance precision and uniformity of seed drop during corn planting.
