Bayer Thai organizes “Ronstar for Thai Kids”

Ms. Thitima Sukonwimonmal, Brand Portfolio Manager Herbicide and Rice Crop Lead, Crop Science, Bayer Thai Co., Ltd., said that Bayer Thai Co., Ltd. together with the distributors of “Ronstar” herbicides which have assisted Thai farmers’ weed control for more than 4 decades organized the “Ronstar for Thai Kids” Project. Under the social project, sports equipment were delivered to the students of 7 schools in northern and northeastern provinces namely Nakhon Ratchasima, Surin, Sisaket, Kalasin, Phayao and Chiang Rai, to promote exercise, health and productive use of free time among the children of Ronstar end-users.

The schools selected for the Ronstar for Thai Kids Project are: 1) Sri Don Chai Wittaya School in Chiang Rai, to receive the equipment from Rungnirund AgroChemical Co.,Ltd. and Heng Panich shop; 2) Banjoko School in Phayao, to receive the equipment from Rungnirund AgroChemical Co., Ltd. and Amnuai Mit Kaset LTD. Partnaership; 3) Ban Wat Community School in Nakhon Ratchasima, to receive the equipment from Tangnam Agricultural Co., Ltd. and Charoenchok Ban Wat (2018) Co., Ltd.; 4) Ban Nong Toei School in Sisaket to receive the equipment from Phayuh Karnkaset Shop; 5) Ban Phraisorn Samrong School (Raj-Amrung) in Surin, to receive the equipment from Sikhoraphum Karnkaset Shop; 6) Sri Prachanukul Kindergarten School, to receive the equipment from Teerasitkankaset Ltd. Partnership (Sae Seng); and 7) Khamying Meemaneewet School, Kalasin, to receive the equipment from Sang Tavee Crop Care 1973 Co.,Ltd.

The sports equipment were warmly embraced by both farmers and their children. The kids in particular were delighted and excited to enjoy new equipment for their activities, while Ronstar believes the equipment will promote teamwork, sportsmanship and inspirations among them.

In addition to enhancing agricultural outcomes, we aim to foster sustainable social impact and community growth. We aim to continually roll out social projects, to reiterate our mission as Thai farmers’ companion and our part in strengthening communities and building a better future for the farmers’ children,” said Ms. Thitima.
