Bayer levels up with new concept office in Lithuania

Bayer has unveiled its latest ”NNOC” (New Normal Office Concept) office in Vilnius, Lithuania. This transformative space seamlessly integrates nature-inspired design and employee collaboration, emphasizing a strong connection to nature and sustainability.

Embracing Nature, Team Synergy, and Familiarity

After nine memorable years at the previous location, we are excited to announce Bayer's new office has found its home on the top floor of the same building. This move represents an exciting evolution of our work environment, combining innovation with the comfort and familiarity we all value.

Upon entering the office, you'll immediately experience the inviting warmth and tranquility of the new space, brought to life through a thoughtfully curated mix of reused furniture and lush greenery.

The office, though half the size of the previous one, is highly functional and offers 300 square meters of versatile space that seamlessly integrates existing desks into a contemporary design. This fosters a conducive environment for focused work, brainstorming sessions, and team collaboration.

During the official opening event, Christiane Temminghoff, SBR Nordic Region, highlighted the significance of this new office as a testament to our commitment to the future of work, emphasizing collaboration, innovation, and team spirit.

She expressed gratitude to everyone involved in making this space a reality and emphasized the importance of engaging in the office to foster human relationships and a culture of belonging.

“One of the standout features of our new office is the vibrant social zone, serving as a hub for connection across functions. It's a space where new joiners can learn from the experiences of others and where we can all foster important connections, recognizing that the capacity of the brain is determined not by its size, but by the number of connections it can make,” she noted.

Employee Engagement and Sustainable Practices

The journey to the new office began a year ago, involving various workstreams including facility management, sustainability, people and culture, and IT. Employees played a crucial role in this transformation, ensuring their voices were heard through surveys and meetings. The result is a space that perfectly embodies collective vision and preferences.

During the grand opening, Dalya Heper Ertürk, Managing Director and Cluster Commercial Lead Pharma - Baltics, emphasized the role of hybrid work and the return to the office in enhancing employee well-being, mental health, and productivity.
She highlighted that the new office concept not only cultivates a cozy working environment but also promotes innovation, connection, collaboration, agility, and expedited decision-making.

The establishment of the new concept office in Vilnius underscores Bayer’s commitment to fostering collaboration, enhancing employee satisfaction, and embracing sustainable practices.

We invite everyone to immerse themselves fully in this innovative workspace and champion collaboration, creativity, and environmental stewardship. Together, we can shape the future of work and make a positive impact on our community, customers, and beyond.
