Bayer Partners with the Vietnam Youth Physician Association to Support Community Health During National Day Celebrations

Hanoi, Vietnam – August 19, 2025 – Bayer Vietnam has provided 10,000 boxes of effervescent vitamin and mineral supplements to the Vietnam Youth Physician Association (VYPA). This initiative aims to support the association's nationwide community health care programs, particularly as the country celebrates the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day on September 2.

The VYPA will use the contributed products in a series of free health check-ups, consultations, and medicine distribution events for soldiers and the community, running from August 13 to December 31, 2025. A portion of the supplements will be specifically designated for soldiers to help them boost their vitamin and mineral intake. This support is especially crucial for maintaining energy and stamina during training and official duties, ensuring they are at their best while participating in the National Day events.

Mr. Thai Peng Mak, Head of Consumer Health at Bayer Vietnam, stated, "Through this program, Bayer wants to help people easily access high-quality healthcare solutions while also emphasizing the importance of proactively managing one's daily health. Ensuring an adequate intake of essential vitamins and minerals is a vital step for individuals to maintain positive energy and be ready for important national events."

Supplementing with vitamins and minerals helps soldiers maintain energy and endurance during training and while carrying out their duties.

To help the public stay healthy and energized, the VYPA recommends the following:

  • Maintain a Balanced Diet: Eat well-rounded meals that include essential nutrients (protein, fat, carbohydrates) and stay hydrated by drinking adequate amount of water.
  • Supplement with Vitamins and Minerals: This is an effective way to maintain energy and endurance, especially during long events. Timely supplementation with B vitamins, vitamin C, and minerals like calcium, magnesium, and zinc can support the body’s energy metabolism, reduce fatigue, and help you stay alert and optimistic.
  • Practice a Healthy Lifestyle: Get enough sleep and allow for adequate rest to help your body recover and re-energize for the next day's activities.
  • Prepare for Weather Changes: Carry essential items like a sun hat, umbrella, or raincoat to be ready for sudden shifts in the weather.
  • Be Mindful of Chronic Conditions: Individuals with chronic illnesses such as hypertension, heart disease, or diabetes should carry their medication and follow their doctor's instructions.

By proactively taking care of their health, everyone can fully enjoy a meaningful and joyous National Day celebration.
