Bayer in Switzerland

In Switzerland, Bayer has three national subsidiaries – Bayer (Schweiz) AG, Bayer Consumer Care AG and Bayer CropScience Schweiz AG – and four sites in the cantons of Basel-Stadt, Basel-Landschaft, Bern and Zurich. Our activities in this country relate to both the national and global markets.

Basel is home to the international headquarters of the Consumer Health division, the EMEA headquarters of the Crop Science division, and the international pharmaceutical hub for oncology, ophthalmology and hematology.

In Muttenz, Bayer manufactures intermediates for fungicides that are sold worldwide. The marketing and sales operations of the Crop Science division for the Swiss agricultural business are based in Zollikofen.

The Pharmaceuticals and Consumer Health divisions serve the domestic market from Zurich, where functions such as Marketing and Sales, Clinical Research, Medical Affairs and Regulatory Affairs are based.
