Bayer Resource Group for Armed Forces Veteran Employees
Our Business Resource Groups (BRG) are open to all employees and create an inclusive workplace by connecting employees with shared experiences. The BRAVE BRG provides resources to veteran employees, families, and friends, ensuring Bayer is an attractive career destination during and after military service.
BRAVE builds connections among veterans and educates Bayer employees on the unique contributions of military professionals through mentorship opportunities, guest speakers, community service, and military heritage celebrations.
BRAVE raises awareness on health and wellness topics for military professionals, including Post-Traumatic Stress. We host panel discussions and coffee chats to educate our team, fostering a supportive environment that values and leverages veterans' strengths.
Our commitment to military veteran members includes investing in local communities. BRAVE chapters organize Flag Day runs to help veterans with homelessness and poverty, Memorial Day flag marking for fallen service members, Honor Flight trip volunteerism, and hosting military Color Guard demonstrations.
