About the Program
Bayer Hawaii's Summer Associates Program offers students hands-on experience in agricultural innovation and sustainability. In collaboration with the University of Hawaii system, this program addresses growing workforce needs in the agriculture sector while empowering students to gain experience and develop essential skills. Work alongside industry leaders at our island farms and contribute to sustainable farming solutions that benefit Hawaii's agricultural community.

Building Hawaii's Agricultural Future
This program helps keep local talent in Hawaii by providing early career exposure before graduation. Students gain insight into various career paths across private, public, and government sectors—helping them envision their future in Hawaii's agricultural industry while building the skills to make it happen.
Since launching in 2023, the program has welcomed eight student associates, with five hired full-time at Bayer—demonstrating our commitment to developing and retaining Hawaii's agricultural talent.
