Supporting Communities and Collaborating for Care
America’s health challenges are always evolving — and no one can address them alone. That’s why we collaborate with the best and brightest minds who share our passion for advancing standards of care that address these challenges.
At Bayer, we’re making investments and building partnerships to reveal new paths that address individuals’ unmet health needs, so they can receive care at the right place and the right time.
Also known as BRIC, this center aims to strengthen collaboration between Bayer’s research and development teams, its wholly-owned subsidiaries and its many external partners — including some of the Cambridge, MA area’s brightest scientific minds.
Our Collaborations and Partnerships
Our new lab is located in Cambridge, MA, and is specifically designed to support cutting-edge cell and gene therapy start-ups.
BlueRock (to address Parkinson’s Disease); Ask Bio (for gene therapy in CNS, metabolic/CV), Affini-T (for CGT), and Vividion.
The unique relationship between Bayer and Vividion can accelerate timelines and aspirations to get therapies to patients in record time. Combining Vividion’s innovative capacity with Bayer’s expertise in small molecules, and bringing best-in-class molecules to the marketplace, we believe there is a real opportunity for a broad range of clinical stage treatments coming out of this collaboration.
