“Bayer” Clubs

There are a total of 23 Bayer sports clubs, 17 clubs and ensembles and 17 special interest clubs located around the company's Leverkusen, Dormagen, Krefeld-Uerdingen and Wuppertal-Elberfeld production sites. These clubs have a total membership of about 45,000 and offer a wide range of sports activities at recreational, club and championship levels, for disabled people and elite levels.

The biggest club to be sponsored by the company is the TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen with about 10,000 members. The sports clubs traditionally have close links with the company and express this by incorporating the Bayer name and the Bayer cross in their club emblem and wearing it on the club's strip.
