Bayer Scholarships

 

Supporting the pioneers of tomorrow – that is the goal of the Bayer scholarship programs. They support young international talents and their special studies or projects in the natural sciences and medicine.

Bayer International Fellowship Program

The Bayer International Fellowship Program targets students and apprentices in scientific and medical disciplines. Its goal is to support the next generation of researchers and teachers as they engage in “Science For A Better Life”.

The Fellowship Program consists of six scholarship programs that offer tailored financial support. Important requirements for the support: The project to be supported must be innovative and international. Scholarships are granted to students and young professionals (up to two years after graduation) from Germany wishing to realize a study or research project abroad or to foreign students/young professionals pursuing a project in Germany.

Post Doc Specials

Congratulations, you’ve just received your PhD! For some young researchers, this milestone marks the beginning of the path towards a professorship. During this time, they have to earn their qualification with exciting projects, publications and stays at renowned institutions. The Bayer Foundations help such talents on this journey with two special scholarships.

Clever minds meet extraordinary talents: With the Bayer Lindau Fellowships, junior researchers from around the world can participate in the annual Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings.

The Bayer Young Physician Leaders Program allows 20 young medical talents from around the world to travel to the World Health Summit, the largest international medical conference. Here, the young doctors can meet with Bayer research experts and collect valuable insights and advice.
