Alex Buschermöhle

Alex Buschermöhle serves as CIO & Head of Digital Transformation / IT for Bayer's Crop Science division. As a key member of both the Crop Science and the Group’s Information Technology leadership teams, he spearheads the digital and AI transformation across all major functions within the Crop Science organization, aligning them with the Bayer mission and business objectives.
With a wealth of experience in Crop Science that encompasses marketing, sales, general management, asset management, digital initiatives, and strategic planning, Alex is a respected professional in the industry. His career has evolved from the beginning as a management trainee through leadership roles in Eastern Europe, Global Marketing, North America as well as our Digital Farming Solutions organization. Before moving into his current position, he served as Chief of Staff to the CEO of Bayer AG.
