Bayer Fund Launches 2021 Opportunity Scholarship Program for Students

- $97,500 in scholarship funding available to graduating Grade 12 students

Calgary, AB, March 17, 2021 – Are you a graduating Grade 12 student looking for a bit of help to finance your post-secondary education in agriculture, food science or culinary arts?  If so, you are eligible to apply for one of 65 scholarships, each valued at $1,500, offered by the Bayer Fund.
 

The Bayer Fund Opportunity Scholarship program is available to graduating grade 12 students entering their first year of post-secondary education in agriculture, food science or a culinary program at a Canadian university or college of their choice in the fall of 2021.
 

“Bayer believes in supporting students and helping them on their post-secondary journey,” said Trish Jordan, Senior Business Partner, Government and Industry Affairs with Bayer Crop Science Canada. “The Opportunity Scholarship Program is one way we can help build future leaders in Canadian agriculture.”
 

Scholarships will be awarded to students based on demonstrated academic achievement, leadership in their community and their vision for how they will contribute to Canadian agriculture in the future. The application deadline is June 2, 2021.
