At Pharmaceuticals, we focus on researching, developing and marketing specialty-focused innovative medicines that provide significant clinical benefit and value, primarily in the therapeutic areas of cardiology, oncology, gynecology, hematology and ophthalmology. Our R&D focuses on promising trends with great potential for improving patient well-being in therapeutic areas with a high medical need. With our innovations, we strive to enable people from all age groups “to be and do what they value throughout their lives” while aging actively and healthily. We want people to be able to share in medical progress, regardless of their income or background. To advance pharmaceutical innovation for patients and consumers while supporting access, we are collaborating with a number of partners. We will couple our scientific offering by embracing new opportunities in data science and digital technology to help us bring innovative therapies to patients and transform the way health care is delivered.
