Even though the acquisition of Monsanto already took place and we are currently working on the integration of the two companies, Monsanto and Bayer will continue to operate as two separate legal entities in many countries for several years.

Are there any changes in the company’s name, address, and tax information?

For the time being, there will be no changes. Please ensure to send goods and invoices as indicated in the respective purchase order. In case of changes, we will update you in a timely manner.

Who is my contact for questions regarding purchase orders, invoicing and payments?

Please continue to interact with your current procurement contact and follow the same process until further notice.

Will my supplier manager change?

Please continue to interact with your current procurement contact and follow the same procedures until further notice.

Will existing terms & conditions change?

We will continue to adhere to all established agreements and conditions. In case of requests for changes to terms & conditions, we will make sure to approach you in a timely manner.

What changes should I expect regarding my role as supplier?

There will be no immediate changes in the supplier relationships. In case of changes, we will contact you in a timely manner.

Can I combine shipments for Monsanto and Bayer for different sites?

Combining shipments is not possible. Please continue to adhere to the ship-to address location as stated in the purchase order. We will ensure to contact you in a timely manner in case of changes.

Can I combine invoices and/ or accounts?

Combining invoices is not possible as Bayer and Monsanto use separate systems for invoice processing. Therefore, please continue to issue separate invoices. Maintenance and reconciliation of account balances should also remain separate.

When will I start receiving harmonized purchase orders from the combined company?

There will be no immediate changes in the current format of purchase orders. In case of changes, we will contact you in a timely manner.
