From her job in the financial sector to agriculture: Aline Vick lived in São Paulo for ten years and worked there as an economist in the financial sector. She never imagined she would return to the family business. Today, she cultivates 800 hectares of diverse crops alongside her sister and father, including soybeans, corn, sorghum, cassava, and sugarcane.

As the second generation of this family tradition, Aline's journey into agriculture is both inspiring and transformative. Four years ago, she made the decision to join her family and embark on a journey that would redefine her life. "I came to the farm to start a project with my father and sister, thinking it would be temporary," she recalls. However, she quickly discovered her passion for regenerative agriculture and its sustainable practices.

Aline emphasizes the critical importance of soil health, recognizing it as the farm's most valuable asset. "If we continued with traditional agriculture, we would see our averages declining. We need to regenerate the soil," she asserts. This commitment to sustainability has driven her to adopt farming practices that prioritize both the chemical and biological aspects of agriculture, fostering a healthy ecosystem.

Her work extends beyond improving yields; Aline aims to serve as a role model for other farms. She and her family welcome visitors to their farm, sharing insights into regenerative practices and the challenges they encounter in today’s agricultural landscape. "We learn every day from our mistakes and successes," she explains.

Bayer has been a steadfast partner in Aline’s journey, providing the support and resources necessary for her rapid advancement in regenerative agriculture. "Thanks to Bayer, we’ve been able to implement innovative practices and access a team of experts who help us thrive," she adds.

Aline’s vision is to inspire more farmers to embrace regenerative practices and deepen their understanding of sustainable agriculture. "I invite everyone to visit Bayer Forward Farming here in Pirassununga. We would love to share our experiences and demonstrate how regenerative agriculture can make a difference," she concludes.
