Planting Life's Purpose
Agrícola Testa lies near Pergamino in one of the most important farming regions of Argentina. Managed by the brothers Carlos and Marcelo Testa, soybean, corn and wheat are grown on a 1,130ha farm. The brothers frequently host training courses on their property, encouraging education and dialogue among the farming community and greater agricultural sector in the region. The brothers feel that agriculture is their reason for life. Using innovative technologies, respecting safety and the environment, and sharing their agricultural practices is important to them. Innovative equipment and technology provides digital information that helps to improve the management of resources and decision-making on the farm. A weather station on the farm not only informs agricultural tasks, but also contributes to the prediction of diseases and pests to optimize control measures and adjust the use of agrochemicals at the right time. In addition to farming their land, the Testa brothers offer high-quality agricultural contractual services to other farmers in the region.

Finding Purpose Through Sustainable Growth
Agriculture is advancing more and more in Argentina. The brothers practice precision farming in which there are variations at a distance of 10 meters by 10 meters, for example. When they first started this type of planting in 2009, nobody considered it that important. Today, agriculture as a whole is trending in this direction, but the Testas are pioneers who already use these techniques on 100% of their production area.
